Thanksgiving Potluck

Sunday October 12th

We would love for you to join us for a Thanksgiving potluck this Sunday, right after the service. Many of you have already offered to bring food, thank you so much!

If we have not had the chance to connect with you yet, would you also consider bringing a dish? My wife is organizing the meal and has asked that you bring one or more of the following: Mashed potatoes, Stuffing, or Pumpkin pie. Everything else to make a delicious Thanksgiving meal has already been provided. 

Of course, we understand if you have family in town and need to head out right after the service. For those who are available, let’s gather Sunday, October 12th and celebrate Thanksgiving as a church family.

Transformation Church provides support for Julie and Prayogo, and we invite you to come hear their stories of God’s transforming work among the people they serve.

Grave to Glory

This weekend, our Rooted Return series continues as we open Ephesians 2:1–10.
I encourage you to read this passage in a few different translations and take note of what stands out.

Notice how the passage begins with death, self-serving ways, and God’s anger. See the dramatic change when Jesus enters– life and glory! Reflect on what it means to be God’s masterpiece — created to make a real difference in this world.

Who are the dead and who are the alive? How do we move from death to life? What does it mean to be God’s masterpiece? What good works are we called to do?

I'm looking forward to studying this passage with you on Sunday!
